I think you make a fair assessment. There is no doubt that people like him (Wictor, Rex, Duane Cates, Tracy Beanz etc) are important for taking the time (time that most don’t have) to research, investigate, condense and then present facts and (usually discerning) opinions in mostly well measured ways for mass consumption.
