With all due respect - at this moment, it pretty much looks like they did get away with it. They declared a president and a vicepresident and they have their agents in both parties - in all parties wordlwide i assume - even the military is infected.
So...who will stop them? We the people?
You have to understand, as long as there is food on the table, nothing will change. No vax mandate will change that, no tax will change that, even if they take away guns nothing will change.
The people that would fight are so few, that this risk is nothing to them. They will cause some trouble, yes, but since the media is compromised they will sell the news, just like they already do, as some extremists doing extremist-things.
That is why there will never be a food shortage in the rich states, there will never be an internet outtage. They will take care of that. As long as the belly is full (even with crappy food) and you are distracted by the internet, there will not be a fight.
The few poor thousands that take it to the streets nontheless, they will get sacked and taken care of and nobody will notice or care for it.
Thats the sad truth.
We´re on a leash to keep us distracted, and fuck, it works perfectly. All these LARPers we follow that datefag againg, again and again, they just want to get their faces out there to create attention for them.
You're right that they appear to havd gotten away with it. Have an upvote for having the guts to say that here.
You're wrong that there won't be shortages, even food shortages. I say this because we already have a massive labor shortage and a whole bunch of people who don't want to work. Even in the midwest we see signs up saying "we're a little slow but be nice about it because at least we showed up."
The jobs at the bottom are where Atlas will shrug first. These jobs have high stress but low reward. When money becomes less valuable and yoi can't raise wages these jobs go first. They're going now. In a few months we'll be saying "they went."
Those low skill jobs are absolutely critical to infrastructure. What's a trucker going to do when he pulls into a truckstop and can't get a sandwich and take a shower? What happens when there's no one to unload the truck at the grocery store or to stock the shelves?
What happens when the packing plant can't keep jobs filled or some vital component can't be had because no one showed up to make, ship, load, or unload it? What happens when a combine sits dead for lack of parts?
Food shortages are coming, as are shortages of everything.
Is it they don't want to work or is it they don't want to work for shit wages?
Minimum wage is for people just starting out in the work force. If you're still getting minimum wage after a year, there is something wrong with you. Even convenience stores are paying a good bit above minimum wage now. No one starts out making $100 an hour.
The best course for an average person is to learn a trade. You can make almost the same money as a professional with a tenth of the problems and stress.
People need to stop whining. Anyone can get anywhere in life unless 100% disabled.
Minimum wage is enough to retire with 7 figures with minimal investments (2.5 out of 40 hours worth of salary per week). Actually do something in your life that gets you more than minimum wage, which there is a complete abundance of opportunity to do so, and you're wealthy at least a decade before retirement age. If you're willing to grind hard for 20 years you can reach unimaginable financial goals in just that time.
Whining and giving people excuses instead of spreading the almost too good to be true seeming objective reality is doing nobody but those who should be hung for their crimes against humanity any favors.
Boy you can say that again. This thread is carcinogenic.
Probably more for the latter. Money is worth less today than yesterday and for people on the bottom, the amount they can make isn't worth it for as little as it can buy.
I began saving my money about 2 years ago, and all it's really done is illustrate how little I actually make.
