I know some people keep asking for any verse in the bible that may support a religious exemption. Well this popped up on my app this morning and for some of you it may fit the bill. It's not about a vaccine, but it is about your freedom of will.
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Cor 9:7
Society is telling us that we should give our bodies to this massive science experiment for the "greater good" and is using various forms of force or pressure in the form of some kind of punishment to encourage compliance from those who are reluctant to give their bodies to science. However, God wants us only to give from our hearts, and we are instructed never to give under compulsion, this is a warning sign. If you are reluctant in any way, God says not to give. Remember, God gave us free will, God gave us our freedom to choose. To be pressured by any entity to do something against your will under the threat of punishment is a violation of your religious freedom and can and should be viewed as religious discrimination.
Here's my initial draft answer along your same lines, but I emphasize more about the warnings of acting against conscience:
Exemption Form Q: Please briefly explain how your sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance conflicts with employer's COVID-19 vaccination requirement.
Answer:
The bible passages quoted above establish my obligations to tend my own self, as my soul and as well as my body being a divine vessel and respected as such. I am obligated to care for my body freely and thoughtfully in accordance with my own conscience and in accordance with the moral obligations of my belief system. I cannot in good conscience and in consistency with my sincerely held beliefs participate in a policy that bypasses Informed Consent with regards to medical treatment to my body with the specific Covid-19 vaccines. This is especially the case while there are various paths and measures available to contribute to and achieve public health.
Exemption Form Q: Please provide any additional information that you think may be helpful in processing your religious accommodation request
Answer: The following link is to a statement by an ordained pastor and spiritual teaching authority in the denomination of which I am a member, wherein he explains how a Christian member acting against one’s own conscience in cases of morally questionable actions, is equivalent to showing contempt for the moral commandments of God.
