It's a huge workforce and I am always working with different co-workers, but in person all the co-workers I meet seem like Leftists. They preach the climate change, wear the masks, and seem brainwashed. However, we have a secret forum for the workers and it is just Q central and tons of memes dishing on the Left and the resident-in-chief. Some of their memes are the best I've ever seen. I know several are reading here. I am shocked when I recognize who they are in the secret forum. I completely thought they were brainwashed Leftists. They hide it so well. A couple were surprised I knew about Q. They thought I was a brainwashed Leftists. We all know how to hide it so well. I guess the Obama years just taught everyone to mask their opinions and we're so good we can't even recognize each other in real life. We can mimic the sheep to a T.
Even more telling is how not a single actual Leftists ever pipes up or says a thing on the actual forum. Everyone in the office knows about the forum and loves to read there, but that means they're reading Q stuff. It's hard to reconcile by how they act in the office compared to what they post there. I wonder if another reason the Left is so convinced it's a majority is so many Awakened are very good at blending in.
The Left used to be good at it, but these days when Antifa larp as Q followers it's just so easy to spot them. I mean, Qanon? C'mon man.
"I’m just saying, if I’m having a conversation with someone and they mention supporting something I oppose, I ask WHY they hold that opinion."
A one on one conversation in private with a co-worker is not the same as blasting your real political opinions in public in the office. Of course, I've shared privately with co-workers and they've shared privately with others. However, in a public setting we all put on a face.
Accusing them of "cowardice" for that is foolish to me. It's not cowardice. It's what is natural. We don't reveal our true selves in public because we don't know where everyone stands.
You're determined to brand others a coward because they don't run around with emotions and opinions stamped on their forehead in public. I 100% disagree. No, being reserved and holding back until you have assessed the situation is neither cowardice nor letting it "fester inside". It's being smart and figuring out the situation.
There is some truth to being afraid to speak up when someone needs to stand for truth. That's a different matter than just normal masking at work and the office.
I don't regard masking the same as staying silent if you see bullying or harassment. I think you're conflating the two ideas as one and the same. They're not. Masking is sensible.
But if someone is being a rude ass at a meeting then yes, someone needs to tell them what everyone is feeling in that moment and say, "No one cares". And my co-workers and I have never been afraid to do that.
Obviously not every person in the office uses the forum. There are real Leftists around. The Q supporters dominate the forum and I was surprised how numerous they were and at the identities of some of them. I had only seen the public face of many (not privately) and I did not have a clue they were Q supporters. At a company meeting they look like a brainwashed sheep, but then you go to that forum and you're like, "Wow, that person is one of us.".
The forum is a place to vent about the company and other things freely. During work hours most people want to keep it about work. You're conflating that as cowardice.
Yeah they publicly at the office are indistinguishable from the sheep. I think most people do that at the workplace. That's just the reality of most workplaces.
