I went to the source cited on the photo, holidaysincornwall.com, because that's in the UK not here. Under "news" found the photo with a bit more. It doesn't say where it is. Banks aren't mentioned. A different family member originally sold this away from the family. New owners are auctioning but it doesn't say it's a foreclosure. I live in a rural area in the US where many people use auctions rather than straight real estate sales to sell farms, land, homes. Sometimes it's estate sales but not always. They do this to make more money on the sale.
