Supreme Court: This will get the government mandates (all of them) to SCOTUS, The "mandate" is unconstitutional in that it infringes on both individual liberties and usurps States rights.
-
If this won't wake people up, nothing will.
-
Big Business will be on the front lines in this fight, no matter which side they take.
-
This forces would-be tyrants to out themselves.
-
This will show the TRUE number of vaccinated in the country and I believe it is a whole lot less then the "official" number they're claiming.
-
This could actually SOLVE labor shortages for small businesses that are not following the mandate.
-
Unions representing big parts of the federal gov workforce are already preparing lawsuits to fight this, including those that represent federal law enforcement officers. Fed. LEO are now aligning with personal freedom where they SHOULD have been all along.
-
If mandate is ruled unconstitutional by SCOTUS, that should give a path for military members to fight this as well.
Edit: Thought of another one.
- FDA and CDC will now be mandated to take their own poison - many of them (50% unvaxxed as of a month or so ago). Maybe some whistle-blowers will emerge now that the vax is mandated for them too.
So, in summary: Big Business will be fighting this, Unions will be fighting this, States will be fighting this, and most importantly civil liberties groups should be fighting this on behalf of individuals. HOLD THE LINE PATRIOTS!!!
I work for a supply chain logistics company and last month we hired our 100th employee. My boss and I were having a beer at the end of the day and he jokingly said we're going to have to let someone go. Then he got kind of serious and we spent the next three hours discussing who that person would be to keep us under 100.
Maybe everyone of you can be "that person" one week at a time, with all the other 99 employees kicking in a few bucks each week to "donate" to the one not working - just an idea.
That would be amazing, but there's a pretty useless dude that works in one of the warehouses.
Well, good time to cut the deadwood then.
I woke up to a text from a buddy at a trucking company, he said they have 124 employees, and they're going to lay off 25 of them from full time status and move them to contractor status.
My hope is that this will make people fight it now instead of finding ways to work within THEIR constructs. Changing the structure of a company to make it workable under this mandate only ADDS legitimacy to this mandate. If they can make THIS "mandate" stick, they will move on to all the businesses under 100 employees, then private contractors, then everyone with a pulse. This mandate is the fight that needs to happen. The bully has drawn a line in the sand - time for us to step across the line and see what the bully is made of.
Ok, you first. Lead the way!
Like how Obamacare resulted in friends of mine having their hours slashed just enough for them to no longer qualify as full-time.
