This is what I tried and you guys let me know what you think. I took a grapefruit and peeled the outer layer (orange skin) leaving as much of the white peel as possible. I then cut it in small pieces and blended it with one cup of water. Once it cools in the refrigerator it will become thick. I store it in the refrigerator. I use 1/4 per day and mix it in a glass of water. You can definitely taste the bitter in the peel. It has the exact same bitter as tonic water. I take this with my zinc and other vitamins. If you try it let me know what you think. I find this an easy way vs boiling the peels. I would think it is better than boiling the peels because wouldn’t that destroy the quinine? Plus this is so much faster to make.

You use 1/4 what per day? And when you simmer the peels, the quinine is released in the steam which is why you don't lift the lid until it cools. Maybe your way is a good alternative...I don't know.
Hmm that is interesting. I may try it both ways.
Yes I drink 1/4 per day so one grapefruit last 4 days.
A quarter of what, you give no measurements, are you using the whole grapefruit? How much water in the mixture etc.
Yes 1/4 of a whole grapefruit. So one grapefruit last me 4 days. Then I make another one. When I make it I use one cup of water to blend it. But when you get the concentrate you can mix it in the amount of water you like.
ok thank you so much.
