This is what I tried and you guys let me know what you think. I took a grapefruit and peeled the outer layer (orange skin) leaving as much of the white peel as possible. I then cut it in small pieces and blended it with one cup of water. Once it cools in the refrigerator it will become thick. I store it in the refrigerator. I use 1/4 per day and mix it in a glass of water. You can definitely taste the bitter in the peel. It has the exact same bitter as tonic water. I take this with my zinc and other vitamins. If you try it let me know what you think. I find this an easy way vs boiling the peels. I would think it is better than boiling the peels because wouldn’t that destroy the quinine? Plus this is so much faster to make.

My understanding is the amount of grapefruit juice you would have to drink is much more than 1/4 grapefruit to cause drug interactions, but check with your doctor if you have any doubts. This seems to be working really well for me. But every individual is different.
Are you a doctor?
I’m not going to answer that but here is more information. Check with your doctor to see how much you can take. Here is more information.

Thank you for sharing your outside perspective. Every now and then, people who know nothing about a subject can still come to the table with something useful. I’m not certain this is one of those times but thanks for sharing.
Don’t assume what I know or don’t know or if it’s an outside perspective or not. If you don’t agree that is fine.
