I would only disagree with this article's statement that it's the conscience vs. the job.
It's your RIGHTS vs a completely illegal violation of said rights.
The government can't take away rights endowed by the Creator. Gotta know what the war is about if you're gonna fight it.
Section Two of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms (ie/ constitution) lists these as fundamentally protected rights and freedoms:
Other sections include Democracy Rights, Mobility Rights (unrestricted travel in and out and within Canada), Legal Rights (life, liberty, security of individual, etc), Equality Rights (before and under the law), and many others.
So many of these fundamental rights are being assaulted by overreaching government leaders and unelected and unaccountable health beaurocrats, and now by an increasig number of employers. Disgraceful and criminal.
In most Canadian provinces employer violations are covered under provincial human rights laws. The Charter applies to all levels of government and not specifically the private sector. This is one of the reasons why the politiciabs are pushing businesses and the private sector to implement the covid measures, to deflect and insulate themselves from liability.
Yeah, makes sense - cause the violators committing crimes against humanity and violations of law to be the business owners.
Same here, and I like that woman in NY who confronted DeBlasio and told him they run a bakery, and they're not going to enforce his edicts for him - that he could do that for himself. So glad someone caught that on video so others could see her example.
Canada doesn't have the same rights as us.
