You'd think he'd come out a statement... something... anything? I know the fact that he has to sit back and not give himself away, but you'd think something of this nature would illicit some type of response from his office considering he spits them out on the regular. What gives?
If he said something already, or if a Fren can provide perspective as to why he hasn't said anything, feel free to chime in.
He talks about it in this interview with The Gateway Pundit:
Interview
He avoids giving an actual opinion on the mandate when asked about it for a while, then proceeds to push the vaccine saying he believes people should take it, that he took it, and that he's a big fan of it, but at the same time, "you can't take away freedoms from people, it's not right. The bottom line is you have to lead your life the way you wanna lead your life."
He also says he believes the vaccines will save tens of millions of lives worldwide.
Then he eventually weaves in there "what they're doing now country wide is not good." But that's the extent of his comments on it so far.
So a half-assed consolation prize to those worried, meanwhile shilling for Big Pharma. Got it, thanks Fren.
Trump confounds me. On one hand he's pushing the vaccines, and on the other he's criticizing Pfizer on the regular and calling out their abject greed (booster shots = dollar signs in the eyes) and he's also made public statements about his attempts to lower drug prices making him lots of enemies (the infamous Whirlpool factory speech)
I just don't know, man....
I hear you, fren. I really do. I've been struggling a lot lately myself, trying to make sense of the optics he's putting out there.
It's impossible for any of us to have a truly good idea, one way or the other. All we can do is hope and pray that there are reasons for the chess moves he's making. I do think there's some logic to the idea that he's trying to make the anti-vaxxers look as reputable as possible to the people who still need to wake up. His image makes it harder to take them seriously, unfortunately.
Maybe not a great excuse if this vaccine is as dangerous as we believe it to be, but maybe it was calculated to be the safest option.
Let's just hope the audit results are out soon so we can start heading in the right direction.
All I can say is that I cant imagine people who HAVENT taken the Jab by now change their minds just because Trump makes the same comment he has been making for a while now.
I truly dont feel like he is pushing the vax, he just cant say anything different than before, at least NOT at this juncture.
