That day was very confusing to me. I was a 4th grader and the whole class had been working on an assignment in silence when the teacher suddenly turned the tv on in the classroom and told us to pause our work to watch the news coverage. As a 4th grader I basically had no clue what was going on. I had no thoughts about it at that time but the atmosphere in school changed drastically that day. When I got home my parents discussed it with me and my older brother, saying how awful it was that the people in the top parts of the towers were trapped and couldn’t get out. They said there were people jumping from the top floor to the ground.. anyone present at the time know if that was true?
