Twenty years ago, I was told that a ragtag bunch of middle eastern terrorists flew planes into our buildings and started a war of terror on our country. I was beyond pissed off that a bunch of cowards had attacked our country and made us look weak to the world. I, being a patriotic 22 year old, ran off to join the US Army and defend our freedom, liberty and way of life.
Ten years ago in 2011, I woke up that morning not a conspiracy theorist. I was still fully plugged into The Matrix and blue pilled beyond belief. Even the hint of conspiracy made me roll my eyes and laugh. Until someone sat me down and made me watch all of Loose Change.
I laughed, rolled my eyes and made fun of it all the way up until the point where they brought up WTC 7. I had this preconceived notion that a plane loaded with fuel could destabilize a building badly enough for it to collapse, but regular old office fires do not cause skyscrapers to pancake into their own footprint. By the end of the documentary, I was seething mad again, but this time at my own government for letting my buddies go off and get blown to bits in two foreign wars we had no business being in.
Today, I sit here seething mad again. You see, after I got out of the military, I started a long career working as a Defense Contractor for the military training soldiers and fixing the equipment that they use so they are well prepared for combat.
Today my company informs me that unless I get the shot next week on Monday, then I can't come into the office, and if I don't get at least the first shot by the end of next week, then I'll be let go.
Twenty years of faithful service to my country is just wiped away because we apparently don't need to go through Congress and Senate to write laws anymore. Presidents, like Kings before them, can unilaterally make sweeping laws from a podium and businesses bend the knee and kowtow to his demands.
If I don't submit to the needle, then I'm going to lose my career, I won't be hireable in my field, then I'll lose my house and I'll lose my cars and I might even lose my wife and kids as I've always promised to take care of them, but won't be able to keep that promise anymore.
My whole life and career swept away by an illegitimate dementia patient playing president on TV.
Good Lord! Never heard an analogy like that before. Don’t mention your cactus are your religious exemption may not hold weight.
