I think it's important to note there are 2 different books titled Lawn Boy showing on Amazon. One was written by Gary Paulson which describes the enthusiastic lawn mowing adolescent boy; the other by Jonathan Evison is the book discussed in the school board meeting (based on the quick cover flash I noticed).
Oh my, thank you for bringing this up. I heard, "Lawn Boy" and panicked because we have this in our home, along with other Gary Paulson books. Paulson's book is about work ethics and economics for kids.
