It's grooming. Have you ever heard of the writer of the Mists of Avalon? Marion Zimmer Bradley was married to a pedophile who used her name in the sf and fantasy community to gain access to hundreds of victims. He finally went to jail where he died. Years later people accused Marion of knowingly helping her husband (a proud NAMBLA member) get access to kid. People tried to get Marion's daughter to defend her mother, but instead her daughter came forward and said it was all true. Her mother not only knew about her dad's pedophilia, but she thought it was a good thing. The daughter is such a strong person who wrote a book about what her own parents did to her and her brother. Both were raped and abused by their parents. She mentions in the book one time her mom tied her to a chair (she was five) and threatened to cut off her fingers with pliers. As an adult she confronted her mother about that, but the mother laughed it off as "Well, I didn't really cut off your fingers so what's the big deal? It was just a joke. Get over it."
Long story shore, Moira Greyland (the daughter) has described that pedophiles groom victims first by showing them pornographic images. Sex ed was made to groom kids and introduce pornogrpahic imagery to children to remove their barriers. All pedophiles (even her father) insisted they're not rapists and that the kids seduced them. This is how they justify their crimes.
Greyland explained that these programs are teaching children how to be sexual before many have even hit puberty. This sick methodology, she claims, is a form of ‘grooming,’ which is essentially getting children used to the idea of sexual conduct so that they are easier targets for abuse.
She especially attributes this to Planned Parenthood’s advocacy of teaching children about masturbation beginning in kindergarten. Children expressing an ‘eww’ response to such topics of discussion are an example of appropriate boundaries. However, teaching them about extremely personal topics essentially breaks down such walls and makes them vulnerable.
Even more dangerous is when perverted sex ed classes cover topics such as BDSM to developing minds. Greyland continues that “BDSM fuses sex with violence.”
By merging the two and presenting such material to children, they are more likely to be desensitized to domestic violence or otherwise manipulated in their relationships or may turn out to be the partner doing the manipulating.
