I'm sorry you're in this situation. I dated a drinker for a bit until I realized she would never stop. I had to walk away. She was unhappy but It was everyone else that was to blame.

The "situation" that is the problem is that people have not yet awakened; especially my wife. I'm awake, she is fast asleep, actively working to tune anything out that disrupts her calm, the proverbial ostrich with their head in the sand.
