Why did she go in the hospital in the first place? Why didn’t she try and get meds sent to her from the frontline doctors or other docs that are prescribing them? Truly so sad.

I saw Veronica's post on her Telegram, The People's Bridge, right after I learned she was ill a couple weeks ago. She mentions checking in to the emergency room. I wonder if she had a scare, feeling really sick, and just out of our ingrained habits, innocently went to the ER where people are supposed to help you. Then she was admitted to the hospital, and eventually posted on Telegram asking for help to escape the hospital. Moral of the story: do not go to a hospital if you can help it, and if you do, have a strong and fierce advocate every step of the way. Have a plan to leave already prepared.
