It's satire. Go to their website and it states this. Michael Baxter writes all of these 'fantastic' stories. I did a search on Baxter and it appears his background has been scrubbed. Beforehand, I recall coming across his bio mentioning he once worked at The Onion, but haven't since been able to relocate this online.
