Except that when you ask others to pray for you it's not considered sacrilegious right? Asking Mary, Jesus' MOTHER, to pray for us and the world is not sacrilegious either. We are ASKING her. To "pray" does not mean worship. "Pray" in the old sense means "to ask." Like, "Pray, tell me..." "I ask of you, tell me..."
I guess I can't expect an anti-Catholic to understand anything so I guess I'll just let you stew in your hatred.
No hatred. The only being to pray to is God. God has the power to do anything and everything. I do not believe saints to hold such power. Believing saints have such power takes glory away from God.
Saints are wonderful people to learn about and should be celebrated for their commitment to good, nothing more.
