Everyone needs to lose the fear. My wife is afraid. Not of covid, but of the repercussions if she speaks out against vax mandates.
Because of that fear she's actually considering getting the vax if her work decides to require it knowing damn good and well she is putting not only or marriage, but also her health and life in jeopardy if she does.
We have enough savings to go at least ten years if we buckle down, more if we find work elsewhere and yet she's afraid of throwing away 15 years of experience at this company by not getting vaxxed (if they even end up requiring it they might not) and she's actually freaking out about having to possibly make that decision.
I'm continuously working on her and we're slowly making progress. It's not that she's not based it's because she's scared.
If we can get the message out to somehow help people lost even a fraction of that fear, this shit will be over so fast we wouldn't even have time to laugh about it...
They could sell the company tomorrow an the new owners could decide to lay everyone off as well. 15 years would still be gone. See if she can look at it from a different angle.
I work on my husband each day too. He owns a small company and he and his partners will not require the vax but he has gone back and forth on getting it. I remind him that we have therapeutics if he gets sick and the peace of mind of knowing that we haven't put something unknown into our bodies that could do us harm. The financial aspect is scary but not nearly as scary as what could go on inside the body after the jab. Good on you for helping her stay strong.
Wow I’m believing that your words to her will not return void ! .. fear is a spirit ..not saying she has a demon , not at all .,but fear is a spirit , Jesus spoke of this and that “spirit” in our world is powerful. Have her say thou shallt not fear ..as much as possible .,faith comes by “hearing “ faith will drive out fear! As I said I am believing for you! Explain to her that many people living paycheck to paycheck are making this decision..you guys have 10 years!
Thanks for that. I'm not going to lie I'm about as agnostic as it gets. with that being said, I agree with you about fear being a spirit. I don't have to be religious to know that there's something very sinister and wrong going on here and that many people have been irreversibly infected... and I'm not taking about covid.
I hope I'm wrong but I think we've all got some hard times ahead of us, but there's no doubt in my mind it'll lead to amazing things.
So funny I was going to say ..I’m not sure what your beliefs are but, it doesn’t matter ...you are correct, you do not have to believe in God or the Bible to understand that fear is a spirit ..fear is real and it is a powerful, evil force , it can stop your heart and turn your hair grey .,so to speak ! You can feel fear come on you ..we’ve all felt it. Words are powerful ..the phrase thou shall not fear is truth and truth dispels the darkness. Fear is not good , period! Fear makes people do crazy things ..you stop this and come against it immediately! Fear will not rob your peace, you (the husband) is your wife’s covering, you speak truth over her, do not allow fear to control her decision. From what you wrote you are a smart man, I believe this will be a good ending :)
When I find myself questioning if I would take the vax risk to save my job I imagine playing russian roulette. Is my job (which ultimately is temporary) worth the risk of a loaded chamber? (which is NOT temporary).
