I’ve often pondered wether Christianity would have gotten very far had Constantine not decreed it.
History is funny stuff. Lot of missionaries walked those Roman roads.
Maybe God uses us as best he can given our limitations, but Christianity is everywhere, while Tibetan Buddhism for example is barely hanging on in Tibet. I’m partial to the lamas, but they aren’t about salvation, or forgiveness, or mercy.
Or maybe it’s all fairytales and ghost stories to scare the kiddies. I guess we’ll see.
