I pointed out earlier that unlike the ones who are born, bred and groomed through the system for it, she came in as an outsider, having made her own way through an unprivileged life, and it wasn't until she was nearly 30 that she started garnering attention and success to a level that the 'machine' felt worth luring her in. Madonna started out the same way, but sadly she's had quite the opposite of an epiphany.
