Looking back at this it seems the 10 red alarm markers are 10 days darkness leading up to 10/2 (taken at face value)

One could also say 10/10, but i don't think that's it, although it's noteable that 10:10 is 'off duty' in police 10 code.

And 10:2 means good signal, similar to 5:5 being loud and clear.
