I don’t understand this one. So officials can’t own the same stocks that central banks buy? I mean everyone owns Apple does that mean you’re corrupt? Sounds slimy but I don’t think this one holds water. Unless there’s smth else I’m missing
The FED is putting billions of dollars in the market. The FED chairman, Powell is personally invested in these FED-pumped stocks. So basically this guy knows exactly which stocks are going to get pumped because… he’s the fucking chairman.
I understand the game is rigged. I’m just saying does this legally hold water? Is there a rule that fed chairman’s can’t buy stocks? It’s like that asshole Georgia senator who dumped her stocks before the covid crash. Was it unethical ? Hell yes. Was it illegal though?
when you control the financial system and you're in cahoots with the supreme powers controlling the pandemic policies that directly impact the financial system, it's A LOT more than slimy.
this comment i think sizes up the corruption really well:
This has much broader implications than just corruption. This means that they were invested in the pandemic and are interested in keeping it going for as long as possible. It was never about anything more than profit.

dumping stocks before the covid crash -- after receiving an intel briefing about what was on deck.
unethical, yes
illegal, still yes. it's called insider trading
It’s textbook insider trading.
It’s legal for members of Congress tho…
