Damn. Hate to be fired from my job of almost 18 years but i got an email today that my employer will follow the osha emergency rules for the clot shot, when it comes out. So my job is on borrowed time, as i will not be getting it. They say testing every week but, according to the dementia resident, testing each week will be at employees expense and not covered by insurance. And Dr's can refuse to treat. So, no job, no insurance. Easy come, easy go. Ive been poor all my life. Wont be jabbin for a job!

Take a look at this thread, and the linked article.

This is about Biden's vax mandate. The linked article points out that it seems to have been merely a TV event. Literally- they looked all over the govt websites and found zero info about it. Except for the TV special, nothing happened. All bark, no bite; all smoke, no fire; all fiction, no fact. In my mind this is a big win, and bigger each day it continues. It's literally a nothingburger, but it tastes pretty fine to me!
It means that at least for now, the government has taken zero action, meaning that any companies moving forward are doing it entirely on their own with no government-inspired reason or requirement to do so.
Osha has news releases i started reading today. The parts I read had mentioned "more news to come" on the rules around worker safety and the bug. Couldn't read it entirely at work. But will.
Yeah, I guess the news is older now. But it would be neat if they actually never publish guidelines. Seems like it's that way still, at least today.
Oh, and thank you. I'll be reading that post and replies.
Biden directed OSHA to come to with the rules and implement them. It wouldn't be ready so quickly, he simply told OSHA to start to the process. Just because there isn't information on the OSHA website yet doesn't mean they aren't actively working on the details of the required plan and how to implement it all behind the scenes.
