maybe proving them wiped is further evidence of crime to support evidence, and like was said above then subpoena isp?

I'd apply the same reasoning to the ISP. Someone has to be on the up and up for a subpoena to have value. Otherwise it's like the Clinton emails and you just have a pile of equipment that has "unintentionally" been tampered with.

I have confidence in our white hats. But as an individual it'd be laughable to rely on a corrupted entity to honestly comply with a subpoena.
