If you are asleep and just go and do your job, and you hear day in and day out that covid kills and see victims and you hear it at home, what are you going to do when the random crazy comes up and says you are wrong? Until you have an epiphany like this guy did, and/or see first hand what is truly going on, you are just the desk nurse, or the lab tech, or the janitor, or the kitchen staff, trying to help people, or get through the day, working for the weekend.
Hospitals, the medical industry in general, is just like any other business or industry. You got the people at the top making business decisions, you got lazy employees doing just enough to stay employed and not get fired, smart people, workaholics, critical thinkers, followers, etc.
These are not medical mavens where each person has a miraculous insight each day that saves a life. Stop thinking of ER or House. They're scared and some are only now waking up. Out of 200-500 per hospital, maybe 5-15 knew what was up at the beginning. Double that number every 6 mos. But most of those aren't even for sure.
Right. Kinda like the people planting all the wires and explosives in the Twin towers ... everyone had their own task and didn't know the bigger picture.

Oh, sarcasm, goody!
Just so you know, hindsight is 20/20.
I hope people are more understanding than you the next time you are slow on the uptake.
Im agreeing with you
I wasn't being sarcastic.
There was a video on 9/11 about how everyone was so compartmentalized that no one knew what was going on.
I believe it.
You can see that they use this same play with everything.
