RE ILLEGAL MIGRANTS. I am for legal immigration. So all those at border are illegal, already breaking our laws but coddled by the govt. The feds ship these people who knows where secretly (why are they hiding this?). Seems more to poorer cities, little or none into rich cities. I saw none to WV.
But my real question is why doesnt TX go ahead and transfer these migrants to blue states, esp the very cities where their lawmakers who invite illegals live (like SF, NYC, DC, LA, Delaware). In other words, those who support illegal migrants can do so.

The Border Patrol is a federal agency. Illegals rendered to their care are therefore handled entirely by the federal government. The state has no control over what happens to the illegals inn federal custody.
Can the goal be to dilute the conservative votes in certain areas? Do they deploy where they've lost the most?
There was an opinion of that. But I still think once they are dumped in a state, no longer under the feds so state can re-dump into red states and cities. Citing these lawmakers are on record as supporting the illegals.
In other words, you got what you asked for now you deal with it.
But the states have rights too. Saw Marsha Blackburn on tv before (R-TN) and she said they dumped illegals in a city there without their knowledge and they dont have any facilities to house them, feed them, medical care, etc. Possible infected people wandering the streets, the stores, restaurants and not enough police for protection.
Once dumped they are no longer in federal custody, so why not send them to Nancy's house? She is on record for supporting illegals. Xiden's state of Delaware?
