The megatsunami is a real possibility. Right now there are no megatsunami, but there may be in the near future. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cumbre_Vieja_tsunami_hazard

Minutes, days, weeks, .... No one knows, but the eruption of the volcano, which had been dormant since 1971, makes the event more likely.
