POTUS 40. My CIC when I served. Visited his Library yesterday and made me very proud and very sad.

I also went into the Air Force - directly because of his efforts to rebuild the military. They had a special program to recruit engineering students. It was one of the best decisions of my life to enlist (while in college.) Then went on to be an officer after graduating. I loved Reagan.
I was very lucky that my service was also under him. He tried to take on the deep state and took a bullet for his efforts.
That's a really nice presidential library.
Air Force One and the Tomcat.
Good stuff.
I still remember looking at a page of his schedule and being blown away at how busy the POTUS is.
I got a 12% pay raise in the Military during President Reagan's Presidency! My wife went to a luncheon hosted by Nancy Reagan when I was stationed in DC. She gave the luncheon to show appreciation for the Volunteer ladies who worked for the USO (United Service Organization)! It was a good time in DC in those days! Totally different than today's Tyranny!
I served under Reagan also - I loved him as president

A lot of people LOVE Ronald Reagan, but honestly, I didn't feel my life improved under him. I remember work went from a reasonable workload to feeling like a train hit you by the end of the day.
I remember him firing all the air traffic controllers and planes crashing.
Closing mental institutions and creating crazy homeless people.
Him saying that ketchup was the vegetable in school lunches.
Not good memories.
