You know I used to believe in tribulation too. Especially bc I believed teachers like Hall Lindsey God bless him he helped me get saved. But I’ve changed my view on the Bible. It’s still true but we’ve been tricked into interpreting it incorrectly. What if the tares are removed first like Jesus taught? Then “the plan” would be biblical like it says. Just think about it. Idk. That one verse could be explaining something else. Hard to use one verse to contradict about 40 pointing to the Rapture and Tribulation. Rev ch 12 seals it for me. Child born is caught up to heaven before the Dragon can devour. Clearest picture of pre-trib rapture to me.
To me that verse is describing events that take place during the Tribulation. (The workers slept—like 5/10 virgins—) The tares are judged first but the wheat is gathered (lines up with those who have the mark of God on their foreheads will be protected first 3.5 years of the Tribulation. This verse also shows us how God doesn’t judge the sinners with the saints. He won’t destroy the World without protecting his children first.
I really didn’t mean to imply just the verse the lesson is in the entire parable. It’s also found throughout the prophets and parables once you put the lens on. What is seen can never be unseen. I liked the whole rapture thing even if it did seem rather chaotic bc I wanted to be with God and I was afraid especially for the kids. Now I am preparing to fight (spiritual fight) and to influence and occupy as I was instructed again by Jesus. I love bible prophecy and never regret entertaining a conversation about it. 🙏
