Can 'We The People' Remove the Georgia Guidestones?

The ownership of the guidestones were given to Elbert County, Georia by the original man commissioned to construct them.

Could a petition with many names and a Gofundme to cover the costs be enough to take it down.....?

That would be an interesting (and awesome) We The People move...

The idea is one side has no issues with tearing down statues and monuments. Therefore it seems it would be hypocrisy if they were angered at their monuments being torn down as offensive. Apparently that idea resonates with some people.
