There are a lot of posts and comments concerning COVID19 treatments. Pedes share some amazing information. This is a great thing.
HOWEVER ... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be careful when you post about treatments you personally ascribe. ALWAYS make sure you CLEARLY state that you are NOT a medical professional if you are not ... which most of us are not.
Suggesting or ascribing a course of treatment, if you are not a medical professional, could land you (and this site) in hot water with the 3 letter agencies if they ever chose to target us ... AND DON'T THINK IT CAN'T HAPPEN.
I have seen A LOT of Handshake accounts in the last few weeks doing what I consider could easily be 'baiting'.
PLEASE be cognizant of what you post when it comes to talking about medical treatments. If you are not a medical professional ... STATE THAT IN YOUR COMMMENT OR POST. It won't cheapen your contribution. Cover your asses please.
You can give your advice on a medical topic, what you are saying means you portray yourself as a doctor when you really are not. You are completly wrong, you can give advice on a legal matter too, but you can't be a lawyer.
Not where I am from in Calif., we had to be trained on what we can say to protect the company from law suites. I am saying you don't tell a person what to do, you tell them what you would do in a situation like theirs.
