Daughter is supposed to travel for family event but we were just informed that she will not be offered virtual learning but must follow school policy of quarantining for 10 days due to being unvaccinated. They will be considered unexcused absences. I know there have been legal posts, any help will be appreciated

Just homeschool. Sounds like they're going to jerk people around this whole school year anyway. Less to deal with when you don't have to play Simon Says with a Byzantine labyrinth of ever changing policy.
THIS! I can't say it enough. Look, even if you think you can't, trust me it's so much better for your kids if you just do it. The school system honestly believes they are the rightful owners of your kids, and if an issue arises law enforcement will side with the school before they side with the parent. Run the hell away now, as fast as you can.
She’s a senior... otherwise, it would be very different
