That's fine I get it. You're lucky to get a decent package like that. All I'm saying is that I'd like to join that club too, what's the number?
Joking aside, good for you. I'm prevented to join this club you're in for whatever reason. Typically I think what we have for most people is what I described: You're paying close to what you're paying for garbage coverage. It's not anywhere close to what you're getting covered for and it's too complicated for normal people to digest, so they feel covered until they get their low deductable plan garbage shit and find a 10k bill coming their way
Yeah, I work a union job so that is one of the perks, but thenunion is very leftist and is trying to belittle us and coerce us to get vaxxed.
Too bad I haven't opted in at all to pay dues, but the collective bargaining agreement on contracts applies to all employees.
Union looks after itself, I had a union membership in an older job in another location and when I needed their lawyer services he did jack shit whatsoever.
Makes sense, you're in the union and that's what's got you covered, which is good. I'm just trying to say not everyone is in that sort of Cadillac coverage you got going on - just turns into how you're in the union and get it. I get it, and I'm happy for you to have it.
I've been considering a career shift into something like that but I'm making good money up front with just much shittier coverage. I guess it's something that all pans out at the end...
Yes insurance coverages are not equal depending on the employer. Some union insurances the employees pay close to nothing and neither does the insurance. The one hung out to dry is the health care provider. Why would anyone take this kind of coverage you ask? Bc you have to take the good with the bad. You want to take the plans that pay well you have to take the crappy plans as wel. Supposedly it evens out but usually you get way more shitty plans and a few ones with good plans. It’s all by design to knock out the independent providers in favor of corporate outfits.
