You can say that again. My dad was a prison chaplain for years and when I was a teen I went with him to a "Lifer picnic", where I sat in a circle on the ground interviewing a bunch of lifers for a paper I was writing. I couldn't believe how creative they all were (they shared that hidden in the middle of my dad's vegetable garden initiative they were growing their own "veggies" & he had no clue), and if you watch any reality show based in prison you'll see that necessity is the mother of all inventions.
