We had a baby squirrel that we found that had afllen out of a tree in our back yard. We put him in blankets in a box and tried feeding him the best we could. I was affraid to bring it into the house. The next day i checked on him before work and he was gone. I was upset, my eight year old was heart broken. I feel like it let not only the little squirrel down, my little buddy down, but also let the Lord down. It was but six month later last october we lost my dad to cancer. I was able to see that the squirrel experience was to help my 8 year old understand loss. The Lord works in mysterious ways, but if we listen and see well enough it all makes sense in the end.
