John 12:32 - "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." Like the Old Testament snake on the stake, Christ Jesus BECAME the snake for us. Our Lord Christ took all of our iniquity onto Himself. All we have to do is "surrender" our wretchedness (confess our sins) to Him and BELIEVE that He is the 'cure' - because He IS the final answer to all of our maladies.

When I mess up (lust, anger, arrogance) I take that to Him in confession. BECAUSE HE WANTS UNFILTERED RELATIONSHIP with me, I want to hide nothing from Him. I have nothing to fear, so I keep the communications wide open with Him. He is my healer and my LORD!
