What does it mean, their indemnification would be removed?
It means that the audit team could be held liable for damages that could be suffered by the other party (In this case the AZ Senate) as a result of that information being released. It is more than likely that the AZ Senate has evidence of criminal activity that they are still crossing all the T's on before they want that info released and they did not want to be sued for defamation if they could not prove the charges conclusively. Hope that made sense.
Thank you for taking the time to respond, fren. I'm trying to understand.
You're saying that the AZ Senate is on our side, and they are trying to get it together to prosecute, but they don't want the audit team to be quiet in case they screw up??
Sort of my theory. I'll try to explain. The audit team has indemnity (think immunity) from financially be held liable for law suits that arise out of their work because the Senate is the one that contracted them to do the work and they were just acting within the scope of their contract with the Senate. The Senate does not want the info released yet and they threatened to remove indemnity to the audit team if they released the information at the hearing. Either the Senate is on our side and they did not want the info out yet because the investigation is not complete and they don't want a judge interrupting that process via a law suit (from Dominion,SoS, Biden admin, etc.) or the Senate is compromised and they want to sweep this under the rug (not my opinion but a possibility).
oh oh oh I see. I understand. That makes sense, I just needed it explained to me. Thank you for the time, fren. Yes, I see. Thx.
