Realisation crept in slowly, I realised that the MSM was lying to me with Iraq war 2 and the dodgy dossier. I lost all faith in the MSM gradually after 9-11 as I detected more lies.

Eventually, when I saw the different thought construction, I saw that my lack of self esteem was connected to the warped ideas from the left such as the enforced fairness and equal outcome.

Having cognitive dissonance is very sapping of your energy and I have not been seriously depressed ever since I started to wake up, and the things I have found out are awful. IMO leftism causes psychological issues.

To leave the gaslighting and brainwashing behind means changing your programmed core values. It takes honesty and guts to do this because you get vilified by all the leftists. My left wife does this to me now. You aren't allowed to hold another opinion to a leftist. It is truly a cult.

Leftism has internal stresses and lies and cannot withstand criticism. It's going to be painful for people to leave that plantation because their friends and family will punish them for leaving.
