Exact same thing with me. It's not that I'm arrogant. It's that I am confident in spending months and even years relentlessly researching something versus you and your 5sec google search.

So true! I can do a deep dive into the most complex science for 5 years, and announce my findings, and some liberal (not just liberals, really) friend will disagree with me based on there most popular YouTuber’s opinion. And if I suggest ‘Um, honestly, I think I know this better than you’... ‘ARROGANT! How dare you think you know better!!!’
