Is there anything out there linking the two in any way. The part about the questions those that solved the first puzzle were asked makes me thing its a bit related. And how it started on 4 chan. Looking for a discussion, bored at work and interested in this.

I’m sorry to drag up this old thread, but I found it after coming to my own suspicion that Cicada 3301 may have been a Q recruiting tool.

My question is, has anyone ever tried decrypting the picture using the tools that helped crack Cicada?
