Looks like Trump passed something that gave hospitals more money for ventilator patients.
This is very weird.
I remember Trump bragging about getting all those ventilators out to hospitals. I believe he, unfortunately, like so many, trusted the medical people around him, and thought the ventilators were a good thing (early on, I supposed they didn't know it would likely kill the patients), and because of his ego, is reluctant to EVER admit he made a mistake. Don't get me wrong, as I tell people all the time, I voted for Trump because of the policies he promoted, and largely succeeded at, but his personality and ego are real weaknesses, and cost him a LARGE fraction of the vote. I think if he had toned down his "Trumpiness" in the last few months before the election, he would have received so many votes that they couldn't have possibly cheated their way to a Biden victory.
I disagree, his personality is the key!
I think that the people who are strongly attracted to him as a President because of his personality would have still voted for him if he had shown a little humility, and a little more "Presidential" behavior, but I know that MANY, MANY women didn't vote for him (and probably quite a few soy boys) because of his "Trumpiness". I've always felt that the issues and policies they promote is the most important factor, but unfortunately, far too many people vote as if they are electing student body president rather than President of the United States.
