My wife got hooked up with a woman who has been getting all the food from local vendors, that they have in excess or replace on a cycle that she gives out to needy, and they give them way more food than they can give out, so every week, sometime multiple times a week she brings home boxes of canned goods, boxes of oats, rice, grits, jars of peanut butter and jelly, all kind of non-perishable stuff.
Funny though, have you ever looked at the food labels of any canned food, or really any food that has been heated past a certain point. There is absolutely zero vitamins in the food. Hell it's no wonder we're all sick.
We all need to be taking supplemental vitamins when we eat, in my view. And incidentally, when you look at the label of a good multi-vitamin, and see where it supplies 100% of the RDA do you know what that means? It means it is supplying 100% of the minimum of what a 5'.9 145 lbs male needs to clinically not get sick from lack of that vitamin. Heck, I always though it was supplying 100% of what your body could metabolize, and any more was a waste. Boy was I wrong.

I think you should reverse the 5 and 9 in your 145lb male 5 feet 9 inches is normal... 9 foot 5 inches would be a giant....
Woops! Sorry, you are right. I meant 5.9
