And make sure they don't get a lighter/reduced sentence for squealing--they suffer the consequence of their actions.

I'm cool with the dregs getting a lighter (but still substantial) sentence to incentivize squealing. Otherwise they'd have no reason to talk. As it is, they are incentivized NOT to talk due to the risk of "suicide."
