He would have the people who stole our elections in pink jumpsuits picking up trash and doing manual labor already.

Personally… No I don’t think at all, so I don’t have to tell the officer I don’t drink and drive. I just don’t drink.
But many people, very many people will have a drink with dinner, a glass of wine, or a cocktail and drive home yes. That’s very common in the United States of America and around the world. So don’t act like you’re some holier than thou - and better than everybody else person.
People who have one cocktail or beer with dinner should NOT be getting DUI’s - and ending up in tent city! It’s just that the law in Arizona is no tolerance. Even one drink! One drink you can get a DUI. That’s just stupid.
So you’ve never ever had one beer, or one alcoholic beverage - then driven after that? Sure I have a bridge to sell you in the middle of the desert!
One drink shouldn't even register as a .08 unless you drive within an hour of finishing it. I guess if you're having a margarita out of a big gulp cup then you're fucked but regardless people end up taking a drink for the road way too often. If you are going to drive later limit yourself and leave a couple hours sober before you get behind the wheel. It's really not that damn hard.
Arizona is a no tolerant state. It doesn’t matter if it’s at .08 or not. Even a number below that you can get a DUI. All the officer hast to say is that you were impaired. Your blood alcohol level is irrelevant if you gotten A DUI in Arizona. You have to fight it in court, because whatever the cops say happened as what happened. End of story. Huge money maker.
Like I’ve said in several my responses here… I don’t drink, so I don’t have to tell an officer I don’t drink and drive. I just don’t drink. I’m not interested.
But I don’t think somebody who has one beer, or a glass of wine with a meal, should be getting pulled over and given a life-changing DUI - i’m having to go to Joe Arpio tent city.
I just can’t believe I’m having this conversation with people on this website. So you think people should go to tent city in Arizona in 115° heat and spent 24 hours for having one beer with a burger. You people are crazy!
Of course I’m not advocating for people to go up I have a bunch of drinks and drive, that’s stupid. But the point of the matter is… We’re in Arizona, the laws are made to make money for our state, not for the protection of people. Joe Arpio and his goons Took advantage of that. End of story!
Ggeezzzz - and where are the people who are fighting for freedom. No wonder we’re in the place we are now. We can’t even come to an agreement that if you have a burger and a beer, it’s OK to get in your car and not end up having to pay thousands of dollars in legal fees, fines, have a 24 hour stint in tent city - and have a mandatory breathalyzer in your vehicle for six months.
Why do I know so much about all this and I don’t even drink? Because so many people have been beat down with this law, and I’ve seen other people experience this. It used to be one year for the breathalyzer in the vehicle. That cost people money, and time, and it’s a pain in the ass. One lady I know was so old - she could barely blow into it right, and it was erroring on her! She had to go back to court I don’t know how many times, and explain this to them with a doctor.
There are so many problems with the legal system in Arizona, and if you can’t tell by now… Because of the elections… Why would you think any rules or regulations regarding alcohol and drinking and driving would be any different!
Well I don't live in Arizona so I made a comment based on most other state's laws.
Understood. .08 is usually the legal alcohol limit. But not in Arizona. So I understand where you’re coming from.
Unfortunately I’ve had many people that I know who got caught up in that system and it sucks. And the whole point is… Joe are Pio is not the shining light in the darkness. He is extremely corrupt. But whenever I try and post something like this on here, everybody screams and Reeees about it! After you’ve lived in Arizona for more than 20 years, and you see people suffer under his corruption… I have to call it out.
TBH I’m not sure what they’re doing for money these days with Uber and Lyft! Lol! I think it’s safety belts and speeding now. We have actual ‘ safety Corridors’ marked on the freeway. Between point A and point B, it’s deemed a safety corridor. You can get double fines in those areas. Nothing special about the areas, it’s just another way for them to milk people out of their money. I drive on cruise control on the freeways all the time, nine minute miles over the speed limit is the sweet spot. And people are still passing me bye.
Have a great day Pede!
