In most card games, you are not allowed to lay a trump card if you still have cards in the suit that is being played - you have to follow suit. You play the Trump card when you want to take a trick but are not holding any cards in the suit that your opponent has laid down. Eureka!!! Trump card will be played once the cards that are being led have been played and we cannot follow suit.
