Depends. If ivermectin kills the virus, well dead bugs don’t breed. HIV is not killed by any antiviral agent. I have a friend who is treated by the Ryan White Clinic and they have advised him to be abstinent - not even to have sex with other HIV infected individuals due to the risk of creating a multi drug resistant strain. I fail to see how there can be any upside to encouraging people that unsafe sex is ok. But big pharma doesn’t care, because they know degenerates want that dopamine rush and are happy to sell you pills that give you a false sense of security,

Only if it kills it immediately, if it takes time to eliminate the virus it enables genetic selection, essentially the same as a leaky vaccine.
I’ll grant you that, but I’m no physician or scientist.
Edit: by that statement I mean I’m not sure if ivermectin directly kills the virus or just inhibits it.
