And let's not forget that Trump has stated he would never mandate the vaxx

That said, he may be saying that for (slightly) narcissistic reasons -- he said that it's because people don't trust the XiDen administration and would trust the Trump administration and be more willing to take the shots -- but he does still insist that it's a personal choice and that mandates are not acceptable.
