I also notice that ALL of the canon 70-200 lenses have WHITE hoods, when they come from the factory black. I dont know if the WH press corp always paints theirs white for some reason. Or if it's a sign of some kind, by the white hats. I'll have to look at previous presidents press polls and see what color hoods the L glass has
