Yes, coincidence. I am in Japan and can tell you almost no one even knows about ivermectin.
They are still lining up like lemmings to take the jab.
I live in Japan too. The news media is thanking the vaccines, but if the doctors are using ivermectin, they will continue to do so while the media pushes vaccines.
Me too! I did happen to catch a Diet session a few weeks back and they seemed to be strongly pushing for oral medication to be approved, specifically mentioning ivermectin. Since then they’ve approved sotrovimab or whatever it’s called for inpatient use. They have about 4 or 5 non vaxx medicines approved now, IIRC.
Anecdotally, I chat with the pharmacist at my local shops. He said he doesn’t want the dangerous vax and has instead imported his own ivermectin for himself and his family. They take a prophylactic dose, once every 3 weeks or so.
Stromectol is generic Ivermectin. Could Sotrovimab could be the generic in Japan maybe?
I ordered stromectol from a japanese website, and they had to order it from India. Been waiting 3 weeks, should arrive tomorrow.
I read that it was similar to the already approved monoclonal antibodies treatment.
I'm bewildered at how so many people here do not do their homework. Japan is a nation of sheep. I've been happy to live here for nearly 10 years (this is my second time living here) because people leave me alone, but having to wear a mask at work because nobody here questions their efficacy is like being forced to believe in Santa Claus or global warming. The stupid Americans who work in my town all got vaccinated, even the one who already knew better. They think I'm a nutcase because I say that the media lies and not to trust the government. They're practically like, "The media has lied to us countless times. What makes you think they'll do it again?"
Lol are you me? I too have lived here for a total of about 10 years. 7 years the first time and now here since 2018. Can totally relate to the feeling though. EVERYONE in a mask all the time, and all the foreigners I know just immediately got their shots and are now busting to get their kids jabbed too. Japanese YouTube lately is full of these awful ads trying to convince people that the vaccines are "safe and effective".
While all but one of my foreigner friends were immediately on the vax train, only about half of the Japanese people I know were. The hesitant half seemed happy enough to wait, and among those who got jabbed, about half of them regret it or feel like they "had to" because their work insisted.
Yes, media is attributing it to the clot shot. That being said, the average Japanese is in close proximity to others when in the city, and they also have lots of elderly.
Given the current risk/reward analysis, it does make some sense to get the elderly vax'd.
Yes, I too agree with euthanizing the elderly. /s
